American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) CME

Application for CME credit from the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) is approved for May 13, 2022 – May 12, 2023. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.  When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.  CME programs approved by the AAFP are eligible for Category 2 credit  (or Category 1-A  under special circumstances) through the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). NCCPA accepts AAFP Prescribed Credit

American Medical Association (AMA)

Application for CME credit from the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) is approved for May 13, 2022 – May 12, 2023. Credit will be accepted by the American Academy of Family Physicians with equivalent AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ .

American Osteopathic Association (AOA)

American Osteopathic Association (AOA) CME activities approved for American Academy of Family Physicians credit are recognized by the AOA as equivalent to AOA Category 2 credit

Nurses and Nurse Practitioners

American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accepts ACPE and AAFP accredited programs.

National Certification Corporation (NCC) accepts ACPE and AAFP accredited programs. 

Application for CE credit to the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) is planned for November 1, 2021 – October 31, 2022.

Consultant Pharmacists: Some consultant pharmacist boards may accept Lean Elevation courses for recertification, either as is or with board approval. Please contact your board regarding course approval and Lean Elevation with any questions.

Pharmacy Technicians: Our live Lean Six Sigma course is planned for accreditation with pharmacists for November 1, 2021. Check with your state or certifying body to see if pharmacist CE programs are acceptable for fulfilling your CE credits. We do not provide specific pharmacy technician CE. 

Canada - College of Family Physicians of Canada

Member of the College of Family Physicians of Canada are eligible to receive MAINPRO-M1 credits for participation for most activities due to a reciprocal agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians. 

Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy (CCCEP) accepts courses accredited by the Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

Our CME Affiliation

Lean Elevation is affiliated with University Learning Systems to report successful completion of credit requirements within 48 business days of CME activity completion.
